Inclusion of a new editable Online calendar that was added. This will load much more quickly than the old pdf version on the previous site. The best feature with the new calendar is that the Service Center Staff and the webmaster team are now able to update the calendar with event additions and changes. This is the most up-to-date calendar of NE Iowa Council events anywhere.

Another new feature was the addition of a new Unit Locator page. This page utilizes Google maps so users can find locations of various units within a geographic area instead of simply by a vague address description.

In the Volunteer section, a new Volunteer sign up form was added that will help interested viewers contact the Council to show that they are interested in volunteering in some form.

More major additions will be coming in the future, including, on-line event registration and payment, a better trading post section, and completion of the remaining "under construction" pages. Keep coming back as you are sure to find new information and better updates much more frequently.
